As from January the 1st 2011 you have access, from the TU Delft campus, to the Wiley – IEEE e-book collection (titles copyrighted between 1974 and 2012).
The e-books can be accessed through the IEEE-Xplore database website or through the link: http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/

From August the 1st untill July the 31st 2011 you have trial access (campus only) to a selected number of Elsevier e-book collections starting from publication year 2007.

The online edition of The Encyclopedia of Computational Mechanics provides convenient desktop access to essential information about an increasingly important area of engineering science.

Over the past four decades computational methods in applied mechanics have developed into valuable tools that are widely used across both industry and academia. Knovel recently launched Process Design, Control and Automation as a new subject area to help process and control engineers increase efficiency through better design and control of industrial scale processes. Process Design, Control and Automation provides comprehensive, unbiased information for instrumentation selection and sizing.

16.00 hrs. Participants shortly introduce their Journal to each other
16.20 hrs. Sharing experiences and ideas, discussion about possible services and more

Produced by the European Marine Equipment Council (EMEC), the Green Ship Technology Book  gives an overview of current green technology, and the impact it has on the environment from a neutral standpoint. It provides a benchmark for the current capabilities of technology, demonstrating what could be achieved  above and beyond current regulatory requirements. It is estimated that if this availability technology could be integrated in today's ships then they could become 15-20% greener and cleaner.
 
The Book addresses seven issues that should be taken into consideration when considering a reduction of the environmental impact of vessels:

ASM International, The Materials Society is world renowned, for practical information and data about the selection, processing, performance, and analysis of structural materials. Knovel has enhanced ASM content by making it more searchable, more interactive and delivering it along side the rich engineering reference information currently available on Knovel.  Users will be able to search ASM content based on specified attributes of a material -  i.e. aluminum alloys with a tensile yield strength greater than 100 MPa.  And using interactive graphs, users can model the performance of a material under a series of conditions, helping them to select the most suitable material for a job.
